Pre-Holiday Fair for the Entire Family

On our first day of Hebrew school

September 9th, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.

• Learn the “Tools of the Trade”  for the New Year, from our Special Guest Appearance
• Make a Sandy Candy – Sand Art you Can Eat!
• Create a unique New Year card for kids in the Hospital
• Be a part of a grand Rosh Hashana Mural
• Make delicious Challah for the Holiday
• Fun Holiday games!
• Raffle! Prizes!

Admission is free for Hebrew school families. Non Hebrew school students: $5 per child.

Featuring an amazing mad science experience

• Hands-on crazy scientific experiments 
• Make your own slime and other cool stuff 
• Enjoy a variety of pastas with delicious sauces and toppings in the Sukkah

Admission: $5, includes activities, pasta & drinks.

Pre-Holiday Activity Fair 
Shofar Factory Craft Workshop

Sunday, September 17, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

At Chabad of South Dade, 3713 Main Highway, Coconut Grove.

 • Craft a beautiful Shofar from a genuine ram's horn
• Learn the entire process from the cleaning to the final polishing.
• See and hear a demonstration of the traditional blasts
• Acquire skills of blowing the Shofar
• Gain insight into the significance of the Shofar in the celebration of Rosh Hashanah
• A great experience for the entire family

Admission: $4, free for Hebrew School students.

Option to create your own Shofar: $6 additional.
